After someone mentioned chat roulette in class last week I decided to give it a try during last weekend. While my friend and I were talking to some girls from Michigan State my new roommate was walking around the room with a half empty bottle of Jim Beam in his hand. As many of you can guess this did not turn out well. He stumbled and spilled bourban onto my computer. This did not turn out well. The keyboard on my computer no longer types. I have to go to the library now whenever I need to access a computer. Luckily my father majored in computer science in college and thinks that he can fix the computer given the right amount of time and a new part from Dell.

New Roommate

At the end of the last semester my roommate informed me that he was going home and he was not going to come back for the second semester. At that point I did not know what to expect. I did not now if I was going to have a room to myself or if the university would give me a roommate I did not know. About half way through Christmas break I received a friend request from someone that I did not know on Facebook. After a little bit of research on Onestart I found out he was my new roommate. My old roommate and I got along fine but we did not have that much in common. However, my new roommate and I are a lot alike and get along well. We both listen to the same kind of music and like to do the same kinds of things. I was nervous about the whole process but now I am happy with the result. I miss my old roommate but I also enjoy having a new roommate.
